Health Has NO Price

I am one of those ladies that wanted for years to get skinny to fit into what society thought was beautiful.  However, I always ended up failing. I tried every single diet out there..including refusing to eat. I wanted to see results yesterday.

I even went so far as to do self injections of the ever so popular HcG diet (not something I recommend without working with a knowledgeable physician). I am lucky I walked away alive.

Sure I dropped some serious weight only to gain it all back and extra.

Hello failure.

I was missing a serious point. Losing weight is is combination of time, food, and movement. I didn't pack the weight on over night and I certainly was not going to drop it by morning. I have been on a journey for several years to health...there is no destination in mind. I can always find something to improve on for example I can increase weight on life, or decrease time on the distance I run.

I had to schedule time to get workouts in. I had to engage in some very serious willpower to make the changes to my eating habits. I had to disengage from relationships with other people that were toxic to my lifestyle.

I am in no way perfect, I still have set backs, I still have those "bad for you food", I still have to mind what I eat and how much.

My point is make your health a priority in your own life, put the work in and you will succeed.

I am going to start a catalog of my at home workouts here for you...they are easily modified for any fitness level. I currently do not go to a gym, I do my workouts at home or run around the community when the weather is good.

I want to hear from you, the reader.. I want to know if you did the workouts, if you changed them up. I want to know what you think, and how you feel. I certainly want to know if you have any questions.

I use Pinterest for ideas, but I design my own workouts to self challenge. I look up movements on Youtube so I know how to do the exercise.  I know my limits and I strive to push past them. I always set the bar high for me, but you can modify any workout to work for you abilities.
